TCF
The TCF is a multiple-choice questionnaire.
A simple, fast and efficient evaluation gives you a professional validation of your level of French.
After the DELF/DALF, the TCF has become the most taken exam in French language schools.
The exam is offered 7-8 times a year at both Montreux and Lyon schools.

FIDE
The French FIDE test is a recognised proof of language issued by the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM)
The test consists of an oral part and a written part and is required in Switzerland for naturalisation and permit applications.
Our school in Montreux is an official FIDE exam centre and the exam is offered 7-8 times per year.

DELF/DALF
The DELF (A1 to B2) and DALF (C1 and C2) are official diplomas awarded by the French National Ministry of Education in order to certify skills in French as a Foreign Language.
Officially recognised in more than 150 countries, the DELF/DALF diplomas are in high demand in academic and professional fields.
They are made up of six independent diplomas corresponding to the six levels of the CEFR.
These exams are offered eight times a year in Lyon on fixed dates.

TELC
TELC offers German exams for levels A1 to C2, which correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and are recognised worldwide as proof of achievement.
German TELC C1 Hochschule is recommended for students entering the Academic Pathway programme
Our schools in Berlin and Freiburg offer monthly TELC exam preparation courses for levels B1 / B2 / C1 .
Alpadia Berlin and Freiburg schools are TELC-accredited official exam centres
On request, our accredited examiners come to our exam centres in order to coach students and conduct the exam. Alpadia will take care of registering you for the exam.

TESTDAF
The TestDaF examination is recommended for students wishing to enter our Academic Pathway programme in Germany
Comprised of a listening comprehension section, a reading comprehension section, a writing section, and an oral test, this exam takes place five times per year at our Berlin school
Every participant receives a personalised certificate and gets separate marks for each of the four sections, which gives a more detailed picture of your language skills.

Exam dates and fees - French language schools

Exams are organised at the regional examination centre and must be paid in cash on arrival. Alpadia takes care of the registration with the regional examination centre.

The registration deadline is a minimum of 1 month in advance of the exam date.

Exam dates and fees - German language schools

We offer TELC from B1 to C1, Goethe B2 & C1 and TestDaF exam prep courses. Exam fees are not included in the price of the course and each exam must be booked by students between 6 and 4 weeks in advance. 

TELC and TestDaf exams are organised directly at our school.

What type of course are you interested in?

Monthly tuition fees at Alpadia vary between 550€ and 840€ for a standard course, depending on the length of your language course which can vary between 12-46 weeks, depending on your German level at the time of entry.
Germany requires non-EU citizens to provide a sum of 11.208€ in a blocked bank account in Germany to cover the living costs within the first 12 months of stay. This amount should be deposited in your blocked account in Germany prior to visa application
Your living costs in Germany are around 934€ a month, according to the German ministry of foreign affairs. This covers the basic costs such as accommodation, health insurance, food, transportation, etc. Are you able to cover your living costs? Please note that this amount will vary depending on your city of destination, chosen accommodation, expenditure habits, etc. Please note that your costs will be higher in the initial language-learning phase until you settle and become a student/employee and gradually drive down your costs.
