Learning a new language as an adult can seem scary and daunting, but it can also be the greatest decision you ever make. To make sure that our courses cater for as many needs and goals as possible, we offer programmes ranging from a standard course to a more intensive course, as well as online programmes.

Language courses
At Alpadia, we offer German and French language courses for adults. No matter which language you choose to learn, you can choose from any of the following language courses:

Standard 20: This course includes 20 lessons that focus on general language linguistic skills that can be readily applied to day-to-day life

Intensive 25: Enjoy 20 intensive lessons with a particular focus on verbal communication, plus five lessons on written communication for French courses and oral communication for German courses

Premium 30: The same as the Intensive 25 but with an additional five lessons on written communication

Private lessons: Tailor-made lessons to help meet your individual objectives. The number of lessons will vary depending on your goals

Combi 5 & 10: Combine private lessons alongside one of our regular language courses
Exam Preparation
One of our most popular courses is our Exam Preparation programmes – which makes sense. If you want to learn a language, move abroad and apply for your dream job, you’re probably going to need to pass a language exam to prove that your language skills are good enough. We offer expert guidance on how you can pass a range of exams, including the German TELC, and TestDaF exams, as well as the DELF/DALF and TCF French language exams.
Online courses
Learn German or French in a virtual classroom with private one-to-one lessons with an Alpadia teacher. Our skilled language teachers will guide you through the same syllabus that we follow in our schools from the comfort of your own home.
Pathway programmes
These two unique programmes are designed to help you fulfil your dreams of either working or studying abroad in Germany. If you choose the Academic Pathway programme, you will receive all the necessary help with improving your German and applying to universities or colleges. If you want to apply for a job in Germany, then our Academic Pathway programme will help with your language skills, application and interview preparation.
