Close by is the Black Forest, an excellent place to go hiking or mountain biking along the Rhine.

I liked the staff , they were very nice and kind and I liked the excursions. The organisation during the excursions was perfect. The sports and and evening activities were fun and amazing! The accommodation was clean and it was in a good location and near to the park.

Activities and excursions
Alpadia Freiburg's wonderful location, close to the majestic Black Forest and next to the Dreisam river, makes it a great place for practising lots of sports and for discovering the German culture. Next to the camp is a huge sports complex with courts, a swimming pool and much more. Students will also enjoy cultural excursions to explore the many aspects of German heritage.
Exclusive Activities 
Student accommodation
Located in the same building as the classrooms and dining facilities, the comfortable quadruple bedrooms have a private bathroom shared between four students. The residence features plenty of communal areas and a basement games room with table tennis and table football, along with several vending machines selling light snacks and refreshments. The grounds also have a playground with swings and a slide as well as a volleyball and basketball courts.
